TOBEY's story
Please contact Karen (krun11@sbcglobal.net) for more information about this pet.
PLEASE READ! TOBEY IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN BENTON, AR., AND IS AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE NE US NOW :)
TOBEY is right at 6 months old, his birthday is 6/20/18. He is such a happy go lucky, healthy, playful boy.  He did not get much attention when he was a young puppy, but he adores it now :)
He weighed 30 pounds on 11.9.18 when he was neutered. He will weigh maybe 70 pounds as an adult - we can never tell for sure - but if you are familiar with the breed, then you will have a good idea :)
He is such a sweet, gentle dog - he of course loves attention, and are teaching him not to jump up on people for attention, but to sit and wait for it.  He is learning very quickly :)
His most favorite thing is belly rubs.  He loves to lay on the couch and watch TV, loves to play fetch - whatever you wish :) He is a great guy!
Tobey has learned how to sit, and be patient and 'stay', and he loves to play fetch, run, walk - whatever you wish him to do, he can most certainly be trained to do so.  He even brings the ball, rope, or stick right back to you when you throw it for him :)  He may lie down for a tummy rub during this process (ha) but he does retrieve !
His breed, Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd, are known for their protectiveness, and ensuring that their families, or their flocks, are completely safe :)  This is such a great mix of breeds, and this boy is as handsome as they come!!
Tobey would be perfectly content being the only dog in the household, or would love a brother or a sister.  He would be great for a single person, or being a member of a family with children.  He has been playing with kids from age 2 to 18 and adores them :)
He has had 2 sets of puppy vaccinations, bordetella, rabies vaccination, topical flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, and has been neutered.  He has been wormed as the normal puppy worming schedule suggests.
He has also been given preventative medications for giardia and cocchidia...  we try so very hard to make sure that they are 100% healthy when they arrive to their forever homes.
His adoption donation is $400, which pays for all the care received from the vet.
Upon approval of your application, and receipt of the adoption donation, we will then choose the stop that is closest or easiest for you to pick your new family member up.
